Memory, attention and concentration
Study is now CLOSED
Aoife McAuliffe, a final year occupational therapy student at NUI Galway, is conducting a study on 'Occupational difficulties experienced by individuals with multiple sclerosis with self-reported cognitive problems'
Purpose of study
The purpose of this study is to get your own personal experience on how memory, attention and concentration, and planning difficulties due to MS are affecting your everyday activities. These changes are relatively common in people with MS — approximately half of all people with MS may develop problems with memory, attention and concentration and planning but everyone is affected differently. Little is known, however, about the impact these difficulties may have on a person’s everyday life.
Who can participate?
People with MS (over the age of 18 years) are invited to take part in a telephone interview, lasting approximately 15-20 minutes.
