A Special Invitation

Information Evening: Camino De Santiago Trek.

Peter and Natasha MurtaghWe are delighted to invite you to a wonderful evening event with special guests Peter and Natasha Murtagh. The father and daughter team penned the book 'Buen Camino' after their adventures on the Camino De Santiago walking trails last year.

Date: Friday, 10th February

Time: 8pm

Venue: Croke Park Conference Centre

Cost: Free to all (bring a friend!)

Also speaking on the night will be some of our experienced trekkers who have been on many of our 23 trips to the Camino. Our staff will be on hand to answer questions about fundraising, training and fitness. Trespass Outdoor Store will attend to give advice on the type of you gear you might need. The Irish Society of the Friends of St. James will also be there on the night. They will be selling their information booklets and of course the pilgrim passport, special requirement to record your journey.

MS Ireland’s Camino Trek runs from the 2nd – 12th June. It starts in the magnificent Pyrenees Mountains and follows the ‘yellow arrows’ through tiny sun swept villages, past majestic cathedrals, through red poppy fields and the lanes of enchantment of Galicia. All leading to the mystical city of Santiago de Compostela.

Money raised to participate on the trek goes to run the most vital MS services, like the MS Care Centre. It is the only respite and therapy centre in Ireland for people with MS, a progressive neurological condition that lasts a lifetime.

If you are looking for a challenge this year and want to support some of the 8,000 families with MS all over Ireland, come along to the evening.
