'Mastering MS' Campaign

Pharmaceutical company, Bayer Schering Pharma, who manufacture the MS drug Betaferon has released a series of booklets to help people with MS. The results of an international survey presented by Bayer Schering Pharma show that many people face the same fears and concerns when they are first diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS).

In the survey, 71% of people with MS had at least one concern about how the disease would affect their relationships; 64% said being diagnosed has had a negative impact on their career.

The 'Mastering MS' series is aimed at highlighting how MS can affect a person’s personal relationships and work life. The campaign hopes to show that “with the right tools people with MS can continue to lead physically and emotionally fulfilling lives”. It also offers resources to help people do so.
