50 Years of Support, Friendship and Hope

On the 22nd of February 2011 Multiple Sclerosis Ireland celebrated 50 years of service and support to the MS community in Ireland. In February 1961 Dr Brian Pringle, a Dublin-based GP with a special interested in MS, called an open meeting for people living with or interested in MS. That first meeting led to the establishment of The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland on the 8th June 1961.
In the intervening years MS Ireland has grown and developed to an organisation that provides a range of information and support services for thousands of people with MS and their families. While our services may have changed over the years our desire to bring Care, Friendship and Hope to those touched by MS has reminded unchanged.
