  • Exercise Programme

    Programmes are running in various venues across each county, depending on the needs of those in the area, the suitability of the facilities and the resources available in each given area.

    Types of Programmes can include:

    • Group or one-to-one physiotherapy
    • Fitness instructor led gym sessions
    • Yoga, Tai Chi or other gentle exercise
    • Hydrotherapy

    There are a range of benefits people with MS can experience by taking part in the programme.

    How to Register

    Step 1: Register your interest with your Local Regional Office

    Step 2: New participants to the programme will be offered an initial assessment with a Chartered Physiotherapist. People returning to the programme will be asked to complete a short screening questionnaire to ensure there are no contraindications to continue participation. This will allow you and the Physiotherapist to choose the best programme for your needs.

    Step 3: You will be facilitated in participating in an exercise related programme based on the outcome of your assessment with the Chartered Physiotherapist

    Step 4: Enjoy an exercise programme most suited to your needs
