Pictured receiving the cheque from Joan McNamee (Centre) are Noel Hennessey (Branch chairman) and Regina Macklin (Branch member).o Joan McNamee, a friend of the Monaghan Branch MS, rallied her friends and family to join with her in taking part in the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon in Dublin on the June bank holiday Monday. Despite the weather on the day, the ladies successfully completed the 10km walk. They raised €2400 which was gratefully received by the Branch members on Friday 3rd September. Joan and friends wish to thank everyone who kindly sponsored them and contributed to their challenge in anyway.
