Volunteering
MS Ireland has volunteers all over the country who play a huge role in providing services and resources and backing up the work of paid staff in MS Ireland. Our volunteers fundraise, organise events, lend their professional expertise or help with the day-to-day tasks for many of our office. The time and effort put in by volunteers is critical to the work of MS Ireland.
MS Ireland welcomes all those interested in getting involved in different aspects of its work on behalf of people with MS, their families and carers. We aim to match the skills and abilities of all volunteers to available opportunities.
Volunteering should be a positive experience for both the volunteer and MS Ireland. Our aim is to support each volunteer in their role and ensure that volunteer contribution is recognised and valued as an integral part of the work of MS Ireland
Join the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland this year as a volunteer and you’ll be making a real impact on the delivery of services and resources to the MS community.
MS Ireland has 3 categories of Volunteers:
Branch Volunteers
Branch volunteers work in their own communities helping local people and families living with MS. These activities might include fundraising, helping with transport, compiling a newsletter or lending your expertise in a particular area.
