Information Evening with Family Carers Ireland

People with MS and their Carers are welcome to an information evening with Family Carers Ireland in the Crowne Plaza Dundalk on Monday 21st May at 7pm. Supports from the DSP: • Carers Allowance • Half Rate Carers Allowance • Carers Benefit • Carers Support Grant • Domiciliary Care Allowance • Free Schemes And any other supports from the Department of Social Protection Supports from the HSE: • Medical Cards • Home Care Supports • Fair Deal • Home Care Packages • Community Care And any other supports from the Health Service Executive Supports from Family Carers Ireland: • Information Provision • Respite Service • Carer Support Groups • Carers Week • Carer of the Year Awards • Annual Respite Weekend And any other supports from Family Carers Ireland. Tea/Coffee served afterwards.

Dublin: Practical Ways of Living with MS Information Event to mark World MS Day

World MS day is celebrated on 30th May this year!The St James's Hospital MS team is running an information and networking evening. We are inviting people with MS recently diagnosed and attending St. James's Hospital to come to the main Physio Department (Hospital 4) from 6-8pm on May 22nd.

The event is entitled 'Practical ways of keeping well with MS' with talks from, Medical Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Clinical Nutrition and MS Society of Ireland staff. Refreshments will also be provided on the night, for all people with MS who wish to attend with any additional friends, and family members. All welcome.
