The AAI certified Ros Go Run draws runners from around the world and is especially popular with people training for city marathons in September/October. MS Ireland's Roscommon Branch is one of the three charity partners, the 2018 run, which is sponsored by CBE, takes place on 9th September and will follow the same route through glorious Roscommon countryside as in previous years and will be chip-timed by My Run Results to help you match your performance against your personal best or against other runners.
After the event, you can use the showers in the club house, then join other runners and organisers for sandwiches, fruit, cake, tea and lollipops!
Join West Cork vintage ploughing and threshing association on Sunday 9th of September for their annual working day. On the lands of Colin Bateman where there is a long history of ploughing matches.
This year our theme is Celebrating 60 years of Clayes m103 Combines. With an open invation to all makes and models for the vintage display. We are delighted to have MC&S Agri Sales as the event sponsor.
Live demonstrations on the day with a range of machinery. A large programme of events is planned for the day including corn and silage cutting, ploughing match from horses to the current world champion Liam Driscoll, a threshing by Frank buttimer, music by Mick Fitzgerald of southern pride, kids play area, dog show and lots more.
All proceeds will go to MS Ireland, St Gabriel's school and Courtmacsherry Lifeboat.
