MS Ireland are delighted to announce that our MS Ireland Branded Jumpers are now available to buy as a limited-edition item in aid of our fundraising efforts for World MS Day. We have a total of 250 jumpers ranging in sizes available from S to XXL.  

We will be selling these jumpers in Aid of our fundraising efforts for World MS Day. The jumper is a featured item on our online shop, containing artwork from one our artists Lauren White Murphy who will be taking part in our World MS Day Art Exhibition

The Art of MS – Symptoms Under the Spotlight’ is an art exhibition created by MS Ireland in partnership with Novartis Ireland opening on Thursday May 26th featuring 12 original works of art created by people living with MS in Ireland. The exhibition has been organised to raise awareness of MS and the wide-ranging symptoms to mark World MS Day 2022.

Saturday May 12th saw the Wexford South Branch leading the way to celebrate World MS Day.  The Branch welcomed President Michael D. Higgins and his wife Sabina to a physiotherapy clinic where people who are living with MS, their friends, families and supporters are successfully running a professionally led programme in collaboration with a group of physiotherapists located at Clonard Medical Centre

The Southern Region held several successful events to celebrate World MS Day.  Without the generosity of local sponsors, and help of local people and branches such events would not be possible. From the sponsorship of venues, tea’s/ coffee’s & pastries, raffle prizes, to free live music, excellent staff and of course everyone with MS, their families and friends who themselves endeavor to support the society and mark World MS Day events.  

All over the country our regional offices and local branches have been celebrating World MS Day! On the day itself our North West Regional office, which covers Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim held a McVitie's Digestive Tea Party to raise funds for the services in their area!

Wow, what a busy month we’ve had here at World MS Day HQ! Last Wednesday the MS Ireland team donned their red t-shirts, grabbed their buckets and took to Grafton Street to raise funds for MS Ireland. 

Here at the MS Ireland office we’ve been busy reading your letters to my newly diagnosed self. The letters have proved again and again just how unique everyone’s story is and also shone a light on what it means to have MS. You have made a condition shrouded in mystery all the more understandable and visible. So, a big thank you from all of us for your letters so far.
