Cork City Hall will again be lit up in red to mark World MS Day 2024.
The new theme for World MS Day 2024-2025 will be Diagnosis. The name of the campaign will be My MS Diagnosis and the tagline: Navigating MS together.
The campaign will advocate for early and accurate diagnosis for everyone living with MS. We will highlight global barriers to diagnosing MS, raising awareness by sharing real stories and data. We will campaign for better MS training for health care professionals, new research, and clinical advancements in MS diagnosis. Together we will work to build informed, caring communities and systems that support people diagnosed with MS.
On World MS Day – 30th May - we are hoping to get 10,000 people to Dip for Diagnosis to represent the 10,000 people living with MS in Ireland. Join us for a Dip on World MS Day – whether it’s a dip in the sea, river, lake, pool or a cold shower and raise funds and awareness for vital services for the MS Community. Register here
Cork University Hospital will be the host for an information point on World MS Day, where staff, patients and visitors can learn more about living with MS and local services. Times provisional
To mark World MS Day on May 30th, the Cavan Branch of MS Ireland will host an information stand with brochures, flyers and other materials about multiple sclerosis (MS) from 9am - 5pm in Cavan Town. Additionally, the branch will hold a fundraiser in Cavan Town.
