JOB TITLE: SERVICES MANAGER

The Services Manager will operate as a member of the MS Ireland Senior Management Team with the prime responsibility of planning, leading, and managing our services for people living with MS, their family members, and related stakeholders.      

To develop and implement a Services Strategy in line with organisational strategic objectives and the MS Ireland Strategic Plan.  This will be done through leadership, motivation, strategic thinking, policy formulation and the forming of strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring the highest possible level of quality services to people living with MS  in line with their requirements.

JOB TITLE : CORPORATE FUNDRAISER 

MS Ireland are now seeking a Corporate Fundraiser to raise funds from Corporates, Grants and Trusts. Responsibilities will include developing and maintaining successful partnerships with corporate supporters, specifically through donations, sponsorship, employee fundraising, trusts and grants and events, while keeping within an expenditure budget.

You’ll bring at least 3 year experience to this role – perhaps from a fundraising, sales or business development environment. The role will suit someone who is an excellent communicator and a natural relationship builder.

Above all you’ll be committed to working towards MS Ireland’s vision, which is to enable and empower people affected by multiple sclerosis to live the life of their choice to their fullest potential.

Job Title: Staff Grade Physiotherapist to work with People with Multiple Sclerosis

Location: Galway

Reporting to: Services Development Manager

ROLE PURPOSE:

To provide a quality physiotherapy service in line with standards of physiotherapy practice and statutory registration. To provide quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to people with MS.

RESPONSIBILITES

The suitable  candidate will respond to contacts made by People with MS (PwMS) and their families by phone, email, and social media platforms. The ILO ( Information Line Officer) will also support the development and updating of information resources across a range of media  e.g. printed materials, social media, webinar, etc.

JOB TITLE: FUNDRAISING ADMIN

MS Ireland is now seeking a fundraising administrator  (maternity contract) to work as a key member of our National Fundraising Team. This is a junior level role and offers an exciting opportunity for anyone seeking to develop a career in fundraising.

JOB TITLE HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and maintain a high standard of care in accordance with MS Ireland Care Centre Policies & Procedures
  • Contribute as a key member of the MS Care Centre Care Team in the provision of holistic care to Residents using a person-centred planning approach and acting with professionalism at all times.
  •  Ensure that patient confidentiality is respected and that the dignity of the Resident is assured and maintained at all times having regard to the Ethos of the MS Care Centre.
  • Participate in and provide person centered care for Residents while ensuring regular contact with residents at all times.
  • Liaise with and ensure good relationships with all members of the multidisciplinary team in the MS Care Centre.
  • Communicate with Resident’s, relatives and visitors with courtesy and consideration. 
  • Assist in the mentoring and delegation of Resident care to Trainee Support Staff as appropriate.

JOB TITLE : NURSE POSITION 

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Be registered in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by Nursing   & Midwifery Board of Ireland.
  2. At least six months post registration experience.
  3. Neurological Nursing experience desirable but not essential.
