Join us as we mark World MS Day with a special event hosted by the Monaghan branch of MS Ireland!

Stop by our information stand to learn more about Multiple Sclerosis and the support services available in the Monaghan area.

On the evening of World MS Day we will be holding an information event to explore the topic of ‘Uncertainty in MS’ in The Alex Hotel, Dublin from 7pm on May 30th.

We will have an information stand in Letterkenny Shopping Centre as part of our World MS Day on Friday 31st May from 10.00am.  Experienced MS Ireland staff will be on hand to answer any questions and provide information with regard to living with MS.

We will have ample written material and booklets on all aspects of living with MS to take away.

The Western Region are delighted to invite young people with MS to attend our first young persons event (aged between 18 - 43). Save the date June 1st at 12pm in Clayton Hotel, Galway

Join us for a special gathering tailored for young individuals (aged 18 to 40) impacted by MS. Save the date Saturday the 8th June from 11am - 2pm in Castletroy Park Hotel, Limerick.*see poster below for more information!

The MS Ireland South East Team are inviting people with MS aged 18 to 43 to the Orchard House, Kilkenny on Saturday, 15th June.   This is an wonderful opportunity to meet up with other young people with MS, enjoy some food, and have a chat about what matters to you. 

Liz who attended our last event told us: “I really enjoyed it. I got so much from it, it was so comforting to speak with other people with MS, to hear other people having the same experiences and issues.”  Liz

The Annual Sponsored Walk will be taking place on Sunday the 16th of June 2024 from 10am–4pm.

Our committee members are looking forward to meeting you all on the day. It is advisable to park in Kilworth Village and walk to the wood (1.5K approx) as parking is limited within the forest area.

With our determined effort and your support we truly hope we can continue to provide the supports and services our local MS community need.

A coffee morning will be held on Thursday, 20 June at 11am in the Park Hotel, Dungarvan.  This will be an opportunity to meet other people living with MS in Co Waterford for tea/coffee, scones and a chat. MS Ireland are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a webinar on the topic of ‘MS and Stem Cell’. Consultant Neurologist, Maria Gaughan will speak on the topic.

The webinar will take place on Zoom on Thursday, July 11th from 7pm.
