When you sign up to take part in the MS READaTHON, you don’t just get to read loads and loads of books! You get to really help people living with MS.
MS Ireland helps people living with MS in lots of different ways. We are the only organisation that gives information and support to people living with MS and their families. The MS Ireland Care Centre allows people who live with MS to take a break from their own homes and routines. It also means that the people who look after them get a break too, knowing their loved ones are in safe hands. MS Ireland runs lots of different programmes like yoga classes, classes on how to cope and manage with MS symptoms and we give information and education classes too. MS Ireland also runs the MS Information Line, which is a confidential information phone-line to give information and support to people affected by MS.
All the money you raise from taking part in the MS READaTHON goes to providing all of these services. That’s why, when you sign up for the MS READaTHON, you’re really helping people who live with MS.
