We are looking for people with MS to help us...

Multiple Sclerosis Ireland wants to create more awareness of MS in Ireland. We want the public to know more about living with MS and the services of MS Ireland. 

All across Ireland we are looking for people who are willing to speak to the media or small public events about their experiences of living with MS.

So we can learn a little bit more about you, please fill in our questionnaire here 

All our spokespeople will receive training and support. Your details will not be given to any third party without your consent.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a practise that is as beneficial to a company as it is to a charity or local community...

The MS Ireland Midwest Regional Office recently played host to some very enthusiastic and hard-working volunteers from Dell Limerick as part of their CSR project.

The day was organised by Ciara Hogan of Dell. Ciara’s sister Neasa is a Getting the Balance Right Physiotherapist; the hugely popular exercise programme run by MS Ireland through our regional offices and voluntary Branches.

“All the volunteers worked very hard, power hosing, painting main reception room, and cleaning outside of our building. There was a great atmosphere and the sun was shining on the day. Our entrance, decking and main reception area was – looking better than the day we moved in – was like a dream come true for us.”

We are delighted that Dell Limerick chose to engage with MS Ireland and the volunteer crew will be back in the Midwest Regional Office soon to continue their great work!

We had snappy lobsters, custard, muck, a wall-papering contest, the make and model challenge where bedsheets were transformed into party outfits and finally the offal dish!!

Show-jumper Jessica Kurten has qualified for the Grand Final of Charity ICA Bootcamp. Jessica will now face the public vote for the grand title of Charity ICA Bootcamp Recruit of the Year 2011.

By getting into the final Jessica has secured MS Ireland €20,000 and more will come through the proceeds from the voting in the live finals. Jessica is raising money for the Friends of the MS Care Centre appeal, which will help fund essential repairs and maintenance in the only respite and therapy centre for people with MS in Ireland.

The live finals will be presented by Blaithnaid Ní Chófaigh, the final week of ICA Bootcamp will unfold over three live episodes on the 16th, 17th and 20th of August at 9:30pm on RTÉ One.

Supporters Needed!!

We are looking for supporters to join us to cheer Jessica on through the live finals in An Grianan, ICA HQ in Termonfeckin, Co Louth. Complimentary buses will be leaving and returning to Dublin city centre. The audience area is accessible to wheelchairs. If you want to come along to the live finals next week, contact Eilish on 01 678 1600 or by email.
