Regular readers of MS and Me will have previously learned about my recent switch from Copaxone to Tysabri and all of the upheaval that it brought to my life. While I feel very fortunate to be able to access a second- line treatment, it encompasses a new set of side effects and concerns.

Offering care and support to someone with multiple sclerosis (MS) can, at times, be difficult because the condition is unpredictable, and thus, care giving needs are continually shifting. Each person with MS has a different set of symptoms and condition course.

The Annual Sponsored Walk will be taking place on Sunday the 16th of June 2024 from 10am–4pm.
Our committee members are looking forward to meeting you all on the day. It is advisable to park in Kilworth Village and walk to the wood (1.5K approx) as parking is limited within the forest area.
With our determined effort and your support we truly hope we can continue to provide the supports and services our local MS community need.

The 43rd Annual Walk-in aid of the Fermoy Branch Multiple Sclerosis Society takes place on Sunday the 16th of June from 10am–4pm (Father’s Day), in Glansheskin Forest Recreation Area (Kilworth Wood).
