This National Volunteering Week (May 19-25, 2025), MS Ireland wants to say a huge thank you to all our wonderful volunteers.

We couldn’t provide the services and support we do without our selfless volunteers who go out of their way time and again to offer support to those who need it, whenever they need it, no matter the reason.

As we prepare for World MS Day on May 30th, MS Ireland will be featuring radio interviews and newspaper articles that highlight Multiple Sclerosis, the work of MS Ireland, and our MS community across Ireland.

On World MS Day – 30th May – we’re aiming to reach 10,000 dips for the 10,000 people living with MS in Ireland. Join us by taking a dip — in the sea, a river, lake, pool, or even a cold shower — and help raise funds and awareness for vital services supporting the MS community.

Grief is a universal experience that everyone will encounter in their lifetime - loss is an inevitable part of who we are. It is not limited to losing loved ones or pets, but can also be the loss of jobs and other significant things in our lives. As part of our A to Z of MS series, Willeke explores G is for Grief.

The EMSP Annual Conference 2025 will take place on 16–17 May in Prague, Czech Republic, bringing together the European MS community alongside researchers, clinicians, and policymakers. Co-hosted by Unie Roska, this year’s event will focus on “Prevention in Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders: Uncovering Risk and Protective Factors.”
