The MS Community Worker Service responds to contact made by a person with MS (PwMS) and their families. At the time of diagnosis, and at various points throughout a person’s MS journey, Community Workers provide information, guidance, and practical support.

Support may include, but is not limited to:

  • Emotional and psychological support
  • Social welfare and medical card applications
  • Employment and education issues
  • Housing and symptom management
  • Relationships and family support

Community Workers can also signpost or refer people with MS and their families to other healthcare professionals, service providers, and local voluntary branches.
