Linda McDonald is a student of Maynooth University, working with MS Ireland during the summer of 2024 to understand and improve the experience of volunteers in MS Ireland.
The research aims to explore the motivations that attract volunteers to work at MS Ireland, and the factors that contribute to volunteers’ sustained involvement with MS Ireland.
We are delighted to announce that the next Living Well Programme, exclusively for people living with MS, will be held on Monday evenings. The programme will commence on the 16th September at 7pm.
Joan Alaboson, a PhD student in the Department of Psychology at Maynooth University, supervised by Dr Rebecca Maguire and Dr Laura Coffey, conducted an online survey exploring the peer support needs of (1) people living with MS, and (2) family members/friends who provide care, help or support to someone with MS.
