NAI Conference
We are happy to announce that registration for the Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) Keynote Conference is open. The event takes place during Brain Awareness Week, details below, and is free of charge but early registration is advisable. Closing date for registration is 20th February.
Neurorehab wake up call
Longtime MS Ireland supporter and advocate Alexis Donnelly had this letter published in the Irish Times this week. MS Ireland is working closely with the Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) to ensure that the National Neurorehabilitation Strategy, which was published in 2011, is implemented as a matter of urgency.
NCPE rejects Tecfidera
Following a full assessment, the National Centre for Pharmacoeconomics (NCPE) has concluded that Tecfidera is not considered cost-effective and issued a recommendation that Tecfidera should not be reimbursed at the submitted price.
