Kildare: Art Exhibition – My Shadow: Living with MS

“My Shadow – Living with MS” opens on 29 April and will run for 6 weeks in Kildare Town Library.

The exhibition features “Lotus Brain Scan” by Ruth Burden, winner of the 2025 MS Ireland sweatshirt design competition.

The piece represents the artist’s personal journey with Multiple Sclerosis and aims to raise awareness of the condition, highlighting some of the challenges faced by people living with disability within our community.

This exhibition is taking place as part of activities to mark World MS Day.

Galway: MS Symptoms & Support Information Session

Join MS Ireland Western Region for a World MS Day Information Session on Wednesday 20 May from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit, Galway.

MS Ireland Support & Education Nurse Sorcha Barlow will deliver an informative session on MS symptoms and supports, offering practical guidance and advice for people living with MS.

This event is open to people living with MS, as well as family members and friends, and provides an opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and connect with others in a supportive environment.

Refreshments will be provided.

Advance booking is recommended.

Midlands: Online Fatigue & Wellness Information Talk

Join MS Ireland Midlands Region for an online World MS Day information talk on Fatigue and Wellness on Wednesday 20 May at 7:30pm via Zoom.

The session will be presented by Alison Holmes and will explore fatigue management and wellbeing for people living with MS.

Midlands Regional Community Workers Mary Leonard and Ciara Naughton will also be in attendance.

This online event offers an opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and connect in a supportive setting from the comfort of your home.

South East Region - Information Seminar

Join us for our upcoming World MS Day Information Seminar on Friday 22 May 2026 at the Brandon House Hotel, New Ross, Co. Wexford. Registration will take place from 10:15am.

The day will include informative talks on financial wellbeing, physical health, and supporting you with your MS, with expert speakers from MS Ireland and guest contributors.

This supportive event offers an opportunity to ask questions, connect with others, and learn more about living well with MS.

The cost is €10 per person, including lunch.

MS Ireland is holding an Information Event - MS & Employment on Sunday 24th May at the Maldron Hotel, Tallaght. 

Sessions on offer & topics covered: What work means to You / Cognitive techniques/ Managing Mobility/ Disclosure Skills/ Psychological Talk / Restorative Workshop / Fatigue management.

North East Region - Information Morning with the MS Nurse - Meath Region

We are delighted to invite you to a welcoming and informative morning with our MS Nurse, Sorcha, taking place at 11:00am in the Pillo Hotel, Ashbourne.

This event is a super opportunity to connect with others living with MS in a nice relaxed and friendly setting. Whether you are just newly diagnosed or have been living with MS for some time, the morning offers a supportive space to share your experiences, meet like-minded people, and feel part of a community.

Sorcha,  Education Officer with MS Ireland, will be there on the day. She is a wealth of knowledge and experience, and will be available to answer any questions or discuss any concerns you may have about managing your MS. This is a valuable chance to gain practical advice, learn more about living well with MS, and explore supports available to you.

Above all, the morning is about coming together—learning, sharing, and enjoying time in a warm and understanding environment. We hope you will join us for what promises to be an engaging, educational, and uplifting event.

Join us for a special coffee morning as we come together to mark World MS Day on Tuesday, 26 May 2026, from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Lynnbury Suite at Bloomfield House Hotel, Mullingar.

Whether you are living with Multiple Sclerosis or supporting a loved one, you are very welcome.

We are delighted to welcome a guest speaker from Citizens Information, who will give a talk on entitlements and supports available.

This relaxing and welcoming event will feature a guided mindfulness and mini sound bath session with qualified mindfulness instructor and sound bath facilitator Katarzyna Slabon.
