Living with multiple sclerosis, Ann began taking part in The May 50K as a personal challenge. Since then, her determination and positivity have inspired a much wider community effort involving fellow residents and staff at Tramore Nursing Home, local schools, businesses, neighbours and supporters across Tramore.
Together, Team Ann has raised almost €8,000 in support of MS Ireland’s services, supports and research for people living with MS across Ireland.
In an incredible show of generosity, the parent company of Tramore Nursing Home has also pledged to match the funds raised by Team Ann, doubling the impact of the campaign.
Chris Conroy, Activities Coordinator at Tramore Nursing Home, has played a key role in supporting Ann and helping the campaign grow within the local community.
Ann’s story is a powerful reminder of the impact that community, kindness and determination can have in supporting people living with multiple sclerosis.
