Brain Awareness Week 2026

This year’s Brain Awareness Week takes place from 16th - 22nd March 2026 and the hashtag is #brainawarenessweek2026.

Brain Awareness Week is an annual initiative organised each March by the Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) to promote greater awareness and understanding of the impact of living with a neurological condition, as well as highlighting the need for continued investment in services, research and prevention.

The campaign is currently supported by over 50 patient organisations, research groups and the wider neurological community, including MS Ireland.

Brain Awareness Week aims to increase public understanding of neurological conditions and highlight the experiences of people and families living with these conditions across Ireland.

Brain Awareness Week Webinar: My Neurology Nurse and Me

As part of Brain Awareness Week 2026, the Neurological Alliance of Ireland will host a webinar highlighting the important role neurology nurse specialists play in supporting people living with neurological conditions.

The webinar forms part of the #MyNeurologyNurseAndMe awareness campaign, which recognises the vital contribution neurology nurses make in providing clinical expertise, information and ongoing support for people and families affected by neurological conditions.
