Keith has been living with multiple sclerosis for more than ten years and speaks openly about his diagnosis, the impact of symptoms such as fatigue and brain fog, and how he manages MS alongside family life and a busy career in teaching.
During the conversation, Keith reflects on how living with MS has changed his outlook on life, the importance of setting realistic goals, and the strength he has found in adapting to change. He also talks about changing career to become a teacher and the role family and support have played throughout his MS journey.
As a 2026 MS Readathon Ambassador, Keith also shares why the campaign is so important to him. As both a teacher and someone living with MS, he understands the value of encouraging children to develop a love of reading while also raising vital funds to support people living with MS across Ireland.
The MS Readathon encourages schools, families and readers of all ages to get involved throughout November by setting their own reading challenge and raising funds for MS Ireland.
