When you first enter a library it can sometimes be overwhelming to see such a massive amount of books but it’s also very exciting too, right? Many people - regardless of their age, ourselves included - think of libraries as fantastic places to go to escape the world for a short time.
Librarians really do spoil us with their passion for reading and knowledge about books, don't they? We would encourage you all to talk to your local librarian on your next visit!
The wonderful advantage with books is you can escape from your normal life and end up in a magical place - fantasy, fiction or even someone else's life. Reading is accessible to everyone thanks to all the libraries around the world.
Here at the MS READaTHON we couldn't begin to tell just how much we appreciate all the encouragement and support libraries across Ireland have shown MS READaTHON participants over the years. Their help has made our campaign accessible to tens of thousands of young people and created so much awareness for the MS READaTHON.
Everyone should keep up to date with their local libraries and there’s always something new and fun going on. We want to show our appreciation for all of the work that goes into running libraries nationwide so this week we want all our MS READaTHON Book-Bots to join us in one big THANK YOU!
