The MS READaTHON monster’s name is Gobbler and he is from planet Boo! He eats up all the books because once upon a time he read in a book that monsters are horrible, scary creatures! But, you see, Gobbler Is none of these things!
In fact, Gobbler is a very nice, kind monster. But he is lonely and has no friends!
He eats up all the books he can find, because of the things the books say about monsters that aren’t true.
All Gobbler wants are some friends! So if we become Gobbler’s friend he will stop eating all our books.
