MS Ireland, in partnership with Oceans of Hope, will unveil their comprehensive Irish Sailing Programme during this special online launch event. The initiative will provide people living with MS across Ireland the opportunity to take part in supported sailing experiences at locations around the country throughout 2026.
The webinar will outline venues, dates and how to apply for this exciting new programme.
This project was spearheaded by Kerryman Stephen Fitzpatrick, who has sailed throughout Europe and Ireland with Oceans of Hope — an experience he says transformed his life through time spent at sea.
Robert Munns, CEO of Oceans of Hope Challenge, will also speak during the webinar about the benefits of the initiative:
“It wasn’t until I got on a boat that I realised how locked in I was in my head, and how I wasn’t living my life to the full.”
Oceans of Hope was established in 2016 by Robert Munns and Nicola Kaufman, and over the past decade has delivered sailing experiences for people with MS around the world.
