Newstalk interview

How school kids help people with MS by reading

Newstalk journalist Henry McKean paid a visit to Loreto Junior School on St Stephen's Green, Dublin to see how they are getting on with the MS READaTHON so far.

Also visiting was MS Ireland Chief Executive Ava Battles who spoke about how over 8,000 people have MS in Ireland. She went on to explain the many ways MS Ireland helps people with MS and their families through a network of community-based services across the country.

One of our school ambassadors, Aoife, came along too and she told all the pupils about what it's like to live with MS. Aoife went on to explain about how sponsorship collected by all of our young readers during the MS READaTHON helps MS Ireland provide their services for people with MS.

Thanks to Henry and the team at Newstalk for coming to see us!
