During the meeting, Joan will share findings from a recent interview study with 28 people living with MS (17 with relapsing-remitting MS and 11 with progressive MS). The research explored the impact of MS, support needs, experiences of support, and preferences for different peer support formats.
Joan will also briefly present insights from her wider PhD research on technology, wellbeing supports, and peer support for people with MS and their families, including a peer support survey conducted in 2023–2024.
Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on the findings, share their perspectives, and contribute recommendations for future research, policy, and support services.
