To mark World MS Day in the South the Southern Regional Office decided to down tools and throw a party!
The event was organised by Gillian and the staff in the Regional Office and was sponsored by the Market Tavern who very kindly gave the venue along with tea and coffee free of charge for the afternoon. There was a guest appearance by Cork Musicians Ricky and Reuben Lynch, who supplied the music and kept everyone well entertained on the day. Backing music was also provided by Donal Murphy from the Cork North West Branch.
There was a great atmosphere in the Market Tavern on the day, with everyone geting into the World MS Day spirit! All the staff put on their red MS t-shirts, balloons were put up, buckets placed at various locations, raffle tickets sold throughout the afternoon, cakes and pastries ready for the taking, great music by Ricky & Reuben Lynch with much chit chat amongst everyone that came along.
A fantastic afternoon was had by all and a huge thanks to everyone who came along and donated!
