Spot the MS READaTHON Ad!

Check out our fab new advertisements!

This year for our new nationwide ad campaign, we're going back to where it all began. As you know our MS READaTHON has a very special place in our hearts but you may not know what we're about to tell you. This is Part 1 of 2 so keep an eye on the blog for the next piece of the puzzle!

Waaaay back in 1988, here in Ireland the MS READaTHON was just an idea. There was no campaign, just the hope that these ideas would row into something big. How right they were! In an edition of our magazine, MSnews, at the time, this description was printed: The concept of the Multiple Sclerosis READaTHON or "reading for the need of others", is based on the idea that given the opportunity, children will learn that reading books outside of school can be fun. At the same time it gives them a chance to help solve one of modern medicine's greatest mysteries."

This is why our new advertising campaign centres on the legacy of the MS READaTHON, reminding everyone just how long wonderful schools and young people (like you) have been championing our cause. Take a look for yourself, keep an eye out in your local area for an ad and let us know what you think .
