There are as many reasons that we might have to consider changing medical providers as there are people with MS. From moving house to your doctor’s retiring, to insurance cover changes, and well... sometimes you just don't click with some members of your team. Worse, we may live where there is a void in neurology care.
We will be joined by a panel of healthcare professionals including Dr Orla Tuohy, consulting neurologist at Waterford University Hospital, Professor James Bowen, (retired) MS Center at Swedish Neurological Institute and Nurse-Lecturer Ciara O'Meara - NUIG to talk about how to go about finding new team members and how to get the most out of your care if changing docs is either required by circumstance, or not an option when you wish it were.
