Our first bit of magic in the post this year was a lovely letter and poem from a ten year old girl from Co Dublin. Shauna decided to write to tell us that she takes part in the MS READaTHON every year… Thank you Shauna!!
Shauna also wanted to tell us that she would like to help more children learn about MS. She says, “I really want to help MS in any way I can. I thought why don’t I try to get more people to go onto your website because I know how serious MS is. It would be amazing getting people to notice MS in little ways.” Take a look at Shauna’s poem below.
Have a heart
Read a book, take another look.
When you read, think that no one’s paying heed,
Think again my absent-minded friend
For there are lots of ways to help.
And when you help MS
You can make peoples’ lives turn around for the best.
- Shauna, Age 10, Co Dublin
It is so nice to see young people wanting to make a difference. If you would like to send us in a poem or a letter about MS or how much you like taking part in the MS READaTHON please send it to the address below. We can’t wait to read it!
