Marked globally each year on 30 May, World MS Day highlights the realities of living with multiple sclerosis and promotes greater awareness, understanding and support for those affected by the condition. This year, MS Ireland’s campaign, MS Journeys: Many Faces, One Community, reflects the different experiences of living with MS while celebrating the strength, resilience and connection shared across the community.
The MS and Employment Information Event will provide practical support and useful guidance for people living with MS who are navigating work and workplace-related issues. The event is designed to offer both information and encouragement in a supportive environment.
The day will include a range of informative talks covering topics such as cognitive techniques, managing mobility, disclosure skills, psychological wellbeing and fatigue management. These sessions aim to help people living with MS better understand the challenges they may face in employment and explore strategies to support them in the workplace and in daily life.
The cost of attending is €20 per person, with an additional guest welcome for €10. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
MS Ireland is encouraging anyone interested to book early and take part in what promises to be an informative and supportive day.

Through events such as this, MS Ireland continues to mark World MS Day by creating opportunities for connection, support and practical learning, while helping to build greater understanding of the realities of living and working with MS.
