Physical Activity and the Pandemic Survey

Has your activity changed since the start of the pandemic?

Dr Blathin Casey from UL and Dr Susan Coote from MS Ireland and the team at the Rehabilitation in MS Group want to find out more. We know that physical activity is important for people with MS both to manage physical symptoms and mental health. Since the pandemic our lives have been changed, and we want to learn more about what you are doing. For example the evolution of online classes mean that some people are now more active, while for others the inability to go to groups or classes means they are less active. This survey wants to find out what you did before, and what you are doing now, and to get your reasons for the changes, either positive or negative.

The Irish results will be combined and compared with results from a number of countries around the world. This will help us to guide future exercise classes and physiotherapy service provision around the country.
