Share your experience of hospital outpatient care

Researchers at University College Cork are inviting people to take part in a study exploring patients’ experiences of medication-related care in hospital outpatient clinics. The study aims to understand how discussions about medicines take place during outpatient visits and how these services can be improved to better support patients.

Who can take part?

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are aged 18 or over
  • Have attended a hospital outpatient clinic in the past 12 months
  • Take medication for your condition
  • Carers are also welcome to participate

What’s involved?

Taking part involves a one-to-one online interview via Microsoft Teams, lasting approximately 45 minutes. You can choose whether to have your camera on or off, and a support person is welcome to join you if you wish.

Why take part?

Your experiences and insights can help improve how medicines are discussed and managed in hospital outpatient settings, contributing to better care and support for patients.
