The day begins with the All-Ireland MS Research Network (AIMS-RN) Symposium, hosted by the Northern Ireland MS Research Hub from 9am to 5pm. The symposium will feature scientific presentations from researchers across the island of Ireland, alongside talks from invited international speakers. The event is open to researchers, clinicians, healthcare professionals and members of the MS community, including people living with MS.
Later that evening, from 6pm to 8pm, the MS Research Public Information Evening will provide updates on local MS research, a question-and-answer session and an opportunity to meet the speakers. This year's keynote speaker, Dr Hugh Kearney of St James's Hospital and Trinity College Dublin, will discuss the relationship between Epstein-Barr virus and MS.
Both events are free to attend. An online attendance option is also available for the Public Information Evening.
