Our friends over at McVitie’s have given us a big hamper, full to the brim with McVitie’s goodies but unfortunately for us here at Cookies HQ we can’t keep it so instead we’re offering you all the chance to win this delicious prize.
We are nearly half way through the campaign now and we can’t believe how time flies. Oh well, at least we’re having some cookie fun! We wanted to keep you up to date with how things are going.
At the beginning of the McVitie’s Cookies That Care campaign, Dundalk IT students proved they would do just about anything to get out of lectures by holding a cookie eat-off on their campus. Following on from the infamous Louth v Meath replay incident of 2010 organisers and DkIT students, Aileen Gaskin, Chloe McGuckin and Eimear O’Brien decided to take matters into their own hands and find out once and for all who is the rightful owner of the title of Cookie Champions.
Members of the Shiatsu Society of Ireland have kindly come on board to support our campaign.
We are absolutely thrilled that Regina Nathan is holding this concert to benefit the Friends of the MS Care Centre fund. We are very excited about this special event and know it will be a big hit with music-lovers far and wide.
Join us for a wonderful night of song and music in Terenure College Hall. Regina is joined by Anne-Marie O'Farrell (Harpist), Victoria Massey (Mezzo Soprano), Padhraic O'Cuinneagain (Piano) and The Tallaght Youth Band.
Tickets are €25 (including a complimentary glass of wine) and all proceeds raised will benefit the Friends of the MS Care Centre appeal.

Here at MS READaTHON HQ we are always interested in learning about all things literary and this week we would love you to help us out by filling in a short survey about your reading habits.
We are taking things up a gear this month in MS READaTHON HQ so keep reading for the latest happenings!
The MS READaTHON is the biggest campaign run by MS Ireland but this year we thought we’d push the boat out and make it a little bit bigger. We can’t help but get excited about our new School Visit Programme. The overall aim of the programme is to teach children about MS in their local area and introduce the school to the MS READaTHON. This programme was designed to complement the other new interactive parts of this year's campaign - the Teacher Resource Pack and Abigail's Story.
We feel very lucky to have such enthusiastic youngsters involved in the campaign and we are always absolutely delighted when our MS READaTHONers send us something in the post. Over the years we have received letters, cards, photos and book reviews and all are proudly displayed in our HQ.
When six aliens turned up at MS READaTHON HQ at first we didn’t quite know what to do but once we took the time to get to know the little guys we realized how much fun they would bring to this year’s campaign. There was only one problem… three of them lost their passports in between galaxies. Since we don’t want to cause Dublin Airport any problems when they all go home, we need your help piecing together their identities.
