Dr Yvonne Dombrowski
Targeting innate immune mechanisms to promote myelin regeneration in MS
Dr Dombrowski leads a team of researchers at the Wellcome Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine at Queen’s University Belfast who investigate how the immune system can help repair myelin. The aim of Dr Dombrowski’s research is to identify novel targets for the development of drugs that promote myelin regeneration in Multiple Sclerosis. Dr Dombrowski is a co-founder of the All-Ireland MS (AIMS) Research Network.
