Celebrating Our 2026 National Annual Award Winners
MS Ireland's National Annual Awards recognise and celebrate individuals whose dedication, advocacy and support make a positive difference to people living with MS, their families and the wider MS community.
The 2026 awards were presented at MS Ireland's National Conference on Saturday, 17 October 2026, recognising individuals who have gone above and beyond to support people affected by multiple sclerosis.

MS Person of the Year 2026
Billy Gilleran from Westmeath has been named MS Ireland Person of the Year 2026 in recognition of his outstanding advocacy, fundraising and dedication to supporting people living with MS.
MS Volunteer of the Year 2026
Stephen Fitzpatrick from Killorglin has been named MS Ireland Volunteer of the Year 2026 in recognition of his dedication to developing inclusive sailing opportunities for people living with MS across Ireland.
About the National Annual Awards
MS Ireland's National Annual Awards recognise the exceptional contributions of people living with MS and volunteers who make a positive difference in their communities.
The awards include two categories:
MS Person of the Year: Recognises a person living with MS who has demonstrated outstanding commitment, advocacy or achievement while making a positive impact on others.
MS Volunteer of the Year: Celebrates a volunteer whose dedication, generosity and commitment have made a significant contribution to MS Ireland and the wider MS community.
