'Leaving dear Cork city'

Singing barman and internet sensation John Horgan has just released his second single, an original composition entitled “Leaving Dear Cork City”.

John’s Facebook video of “Bright Blue Rose” went viral clocking up well over half a million views since it was posted last February. The video was captured on a mobile phone and shows John effortlessly singing one of his favourite songs while serving bar in The Crossroads Pub, Knockavilla. John is a member of the Cobh Cathedral Choir which has about 35 members. The combined Chamber and Cathedral Choirs 70+ members have performed in West Minister Cathedral & St George's Cathedral, London and the Vatican in 2009 and 2013. Leo Fitzgerald who wrote “Leaving Dear Cork City” and also recorded and produced both John’s singles was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 9 years ago at 28 years old.

John is currently working on a 12 track album with Leo & Noreen at Music Row Studios, Ballydesmond which will be released in the coming months. “Leaving Dear Cork City” is now on sale on CD at €5 each and MP3 download at €2.50 each visit www.musicrowstudios.com and various outlets around the county. 

€1 from the new single will be donated to MS Ireland.
