The Midwest Support group has been up and running for the last year. It meets every 4 to 6 weeks normally on a Friday from 11am till 1pm. This support group is a place for people to give and receive both emotional and practical support as well as to exchange information.

Congratulations to all those plucky runners who took part in the 22nd Longford Christmas Day Run. Over €7000 was raised for the Longford Voluntary Branch of MS Ireland on the day. Well done to all those involved.
Vast arrays of Christmas Jumpers were rooted out of wardrobes, attics and bottom drawers. They were dusted off and worn with yuletide pride at the Christmas Jumper Party night in MacSeains Pub, Cornfean, Cavan on the 20th of December. It was all in aid of raising money for the MS Cavan Voluntary Branch. Donations were taken at the door on the night. There were lots of spot prizes and the DJ got everyone into the spirit playing all those favorite Christmas tunes. It was a great success.
MS Ireland has been nominated by a parent for the 2013 Mykidstime Charity of the Year.
