World Health Organisation highlights issue of dementia
The World Health Organisation has warned that cases of dementia are set to soar in the coming decades. Some 35.6 million people were living with dementia in 2010 but that figure is set to double to 65.7 million by 2030.
NAI launch National Survey of Carers of People with Neurological Conditions
The Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) and Care Alliance are carrying out a survey of carers of people with neurological conditions.The results will be published during Carers Week this June. The NAI is an umbrella group of over 30 neurological charities and Care Alliance is the national umbrella for organisations representing family carers. National Conference on Migraine at Work
