Here at the MS Ireland office we’ve been busy reading your letters to my newly diagnosed self. The letters have proved again and again just how unique everyone’s story is and also shone a light on what it means to have MS. You have made a condition shrouded in mystery all the more understandable and visible. So, a big thank you from all of us for your letters so far.

Move 4 Parkinsons in association with Cure Parkinsons Trsut/Parkinsons Movement are hosting a Patient Empowerment Day on 20th June 2012. This is organised to coincide with the International Movement Disorder Conference being held in Dublin. The purpose of the day is to introduce people with Parkinsons disease to the concept of empowerment and practical ways to improve their quality of life.
Wow, what a busy month we’ve had here at World MS Day HQ! Last Wednesday the MS Ireland team donned their red t-shirts, grabbed their buckets and took to Grafton Street to raise funds for MS Ireland.

All over the country our regional offices and local branches have been celebrating World MS Day! On the day itself our North West Regional office, which covers Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim held a McVitie's Digestive Tea Party to raise funds for the services in their area!
