Not everyone who has multiple sclerosis (MS) will experience problems with memory and thinking but mild difficulties are common.

conversations or think things through. These are examples of cognitive skills – and there are many ways to cope with difficulties, some of which we will explore below.

People living with MS may benefit from additional supports and changes to their work environment.

More than 10,000 people are living with Multiple Sclerosis in Ireland. Multiple Sclerosis (MS), meaning ‘many scars’, is the most common disabling neurological disease affecting young adults in Ireland. MS impacts the motor, sensory and cognitive functioning of the body and is usually diagnosed between 20 and 40 years of age.
