MS Ireland North East regional office would like to offer you an opportunity to meet with other young people, aged 18yrs - 43yrs with MS living in the North East Region with similar experiences, and discuss topics that matter to you. This could be a great way to connect with others who understand your experiences and to hear about updates and resources from the MS community. We will finalise the location, date and time based on the level of interest shown with a tentative plan for a Saturday morning event.
North East Region are holding their online FACETS Programme on Thursday, 6th February 2025 from 11am - 12.30pm for 6 weeks. Given the progressional structure of the course, it is advised that participants attend continually for 6 weeks to benefit from the course.

The Southern Regional Office will host an online six week fatigue management programme - FACETS - starting Tuesday 14th January 2025 from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
The FACETS programme (Fatigue: Applying Cognitive Behavioural and Energy Effective Techniques to Life Style) is based on a programme developed by researchers at Bournemouth University in the UK. There is lots of evidence that this programme is effective in helping people with MS manage their fatigue.
Commitment is required for the six weeks to ensure that you get the most out of the course.
Weekly Physiotherapist led Exercise Classes for people with MS – a course for people with MS to experience exercise as a way of supporting positive health and wellbeing. MS Irelands Annual Raffle will begin at the start of September until the 14th of October, we will be selling raffle tickets to raise some much needed funds to support our Care Centre.
The Care Centre provides short-term specialised respite care for people with MS and services including yoga, art therapy and physiotherapy, while also allowing carers who are often family members, an important break.
Tickets starts from €5 with a top prize of €1000, so make sure to get your tickets today!
